The New Orleans Saints have signed 10-year veteran defensive end Darryl Tapp to a one-year deal.

Tapp  started his career in Seattle where he played for four seasons. He was originally a second round pick out of Virginia Tech

Tapp played the last two seasons with the Detroit Lion

He also played three seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and one with the Washington Redskins.

His career totals include 12 forced fumbles and 27.5 sacks. He played roughly 40 percent of the snaps on defense last season for the Lions. He ended the season with two forced fumbles and two sacks.
