Former Louisiana Tech point guard Alex Hamilton will play for the Los Angeles Clippers as part of the 2016 NBA Summer League which tips off on July 2.

Hamilton and the Clippers will take part in the 25-game, seven-day event at the Southwest Airlines Orlando Pro Summer League series at the Amway Center. It will feature two teams from the Orlando Magic, along with the Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Hornets, Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat, New York Knicks and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Hamilton finished his historic career with a bang this past season by earning Conference USA Player of the Year honors as well as being named AP Honorable Mention All-America.

The Chipley, Florida native ended up averaging 19.8 points per game to help him finish with 1,986 career points which is the third most in program history.
